About the role - your contribution

As a full-stack software developer on a cross-functional and self-organizing team, you will be at the forefront of building and enhancing customer-facing product functionalities that deliver seamless and impactful user experiences. Your work will enable our products to create value for all stakeholders by addressing their unique needs, whether end-users or partners. You'll be instrumental in translating user requirements into robust, scalable solutions, ensuring the product is intuitive and efficient by working collaboratively with our product manager, designer, and stakeholders.
Among other things, we practice Pair-Programming, TDD/BDD, Continuous Refactoring, Continuous Integration & Delivery, and we’re relentlessly improving the way we work (e.g., our development and product processes).
We are fully aware that we’re not perfect and we’re not afraid to say so. We recognize the problems that we have and are taking full responsibility to solve them. That’s our journey of continuous improvement. We expect the same attitude from you!
Most of our tech stack is in Typescript/Javascript on the web front-end and back-end side of things. We’d be interested in candidates from any background as long as you have a keen understanding of Object-Oriented programming languages, Design patterns, Testing/TDD, and Refactoring. Here’s a list of practices and technologies we’re currently using:

Skillset, experiences and mindset we are looking for

• You care about software, and you have a passion for what you do, and you want to deliver software that works well and provides value to users and the business. You can clearly show this by your actions and behaviors.
• You prefer simple solutions, have an eye for software design, and incrementally improve existing solutions and evolve design over time rather than do a “big rewrite.”
• You are a solid full-stack web developer. That means that you can build applications from start to end, from front-end, through API and business logic, and down to the database schema and 3rd-party service integrations.
• You are a strong team player. You have the ability, experience, and genuine interest in working closely with Product and Design counterparts, as well as other engineers, as we build everything together as a team.
• For you, software engineering is more than just a job. You read, experiment, practice, and continuously improve yourself, your skills, and keep them sharp, and share knowledge with your peers.
• You have 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, including working on complex projects and experience with responsive and accessible design principles.
• You will get extra points from us if you have experience in trading and/or accounting.
